Julia Michaels’ latest EP was released January 24 and the internet is loving it. No wonder, though, seeing how honest, authentic and brutally raw the six new songs are. When listening to them, it really does feel like fans get to be part of various inner monologues Julia’s had since the release of her past project, Nervous System.

To all of you Alternative Rockers out there: I found a band that you might want to add to your playlist.
Scout Killers, a five piece band from the UK, were founded back in 2009. According to their bio, they draw some inspiration from bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Red Hot Chili Peppers, which can definitely be heard in their songs. What’s cool, though, is that they still managed to find a style that separates them from bands who produce the same genre.
